ForgeWild Media Fan Content Policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

At ForgeWild Media, we believe that inclusive, visceral storytelling is the foundation of a "Found Family". We are honored that you want to inhabit the Obsidian Cradle or broadcast from the Aurora Frequencies. This policy outlines how you can use our Intellectual Property (IP)—including characters like Booch, Pizanhild, Regis, and Kellan—to create your own fan works.

1. The Golden Rule: Non-Commercial Use

You may create fan content (art, fiction, podcasts, or videos) based on ForgeWild IP for free. You may not sell, license, or profit from our IP without express written permission.

  • Exceptions: You may monetize fan-made videos or streams (such as on YouTube or Twitch) via standard ad revenue, provided your content complies with the rest of this policy.

2. Visual Identity & "Trade Dress"

To maintain "Conceptual Harmony," we ask that you do not mimic our official branding.

  • Logo Protection: Do not use the official ForgeWild or Caldora logos for your own projects.

  • Trade Dress: Our specific "Gold-on-Black Marble" aesthetic and elemental textures are part of our professional brand identity. Fan works should be distinct enough that a reasonable person would not mistake them for official ForgeWild products.

3. The "Human-Made" Mandate

ForgeWild Media is a collective of creatives from the Global South. To protect the livelihood of human artists:

  • No Generative AI: We strictly prohibit the submission or promotion of fan content created using Generative AI (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc). All submitted work must be the result of human creativity.

4. Community Standards & Conduct

Caldora is a visceral, gritty setting, but our community is a safe space. Fan content must not include:

  • Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory material.

  • Content that disparages the South African TTRPG community or our inclusive values.

5. Fan Art Submissions

By submitting artwork via our Google Form or using our official hashtags, you grant ForgeWild Media a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and share your work on our website, social media, and broadcast segments with proper credit to you.

6. Mandatory Disclaimer

All fan content must include the following disclaimer in a visible location (e.g., the video description or the "About" page):

“This is unofficial fan content permitted under the ForgeWild Media Content Policy. Not approved or endorsed by ForgeWild Media. Portions of the materials used are property of ForgeWild Media. © 2026 ForgeWild Media.”.

7. Commercial & Physical Goods

You may not mass-produce physical merchandise (T-shirts, miniatures, dice) featuring ForgeWild characters or settings.

  • Handmade Items: Small-scale, one-of-a-kind handmade items (e.g., a single custom Booch plushie or Pizan-inspired jewelry) sold at local conventions are generally permitted, provided they are not marketed as "official".
